Web Design Philosophy:
It used to be that the Web designers were different from the Internet consultants, and the programmers were absent-minded professors without a foot in the real world of business. Not so anymore.
We are entrepreneurially inclined and we live the way our clients live. We can build a foundation, can talk intelligently and for useful purpose with the architect and specialist trades, and take out our own trash every Tuesday.
In short, we “get” the Internet -- that's a given for any real design company -- but more importantly, we “get” business.
The customer is always to be listened to, but not always indulged. We believe that a good portion of the consultative role and area-specific expertise that the client is paying for is to be the bridge between good design practice and the often downright kooky preconceptions and/or creative impulses the client may be laboring under.
If I hire a contractor to remodel my kitchen, and he uses his professional expertise to point out that “you won't be able to open that door if you use that layout”, I'd be fairly obtuse if I insisted on that layout, wouldn't I?
The customer may not always be right, but the customer always wins.
We know what it's like to be on a budget. Maybe you think you can't afford the best design, content or marketing. Really? You can't afford to skimp on QUALITY advertising for your business, but that doesn't mean you need to spend a fortune for it either. We'd rather work with you on budgeting and payment issues than have you let your nephew put together a web site for your business that looks just like his dog's home page.
Of course, we'll need to get paid, but we're willing to work out flexible terms for good people who need it. Just as we shop sales and use coupons when shopping for food or clothing, likewise, we go to great lengths to ferret out the best deals for our clients' internet marketing needs. Everything from Hosting Services to post-production marketing goes through scrutiny to make sure that you are not only getting the best price but excellent customer service from these providers as well.
